Women Business Power Through Good and Bad Times

In current times, it is not what you know but who you know and the network that you belong. Welcome to the 1st Asia Women Business Power Conference, organized by MIRC and to be held on 18th June 2009 at Technology Park Malaysia.Over 400 business leaders, CEOs and exceptional women will come together in the celebration of women entrepreneurs and their achievements.

This conference features powerful and inspiring women entrepreneurs throughout the region and promises to be both inspiring and motivational to all participants. The event will provide insights to the business world from the eyes of women who lived through the rigors of tough economies, war and traditional mindsets and still made it through, now carrying wisdom and knowledge to share and success stories to tell. Speakers from Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Malaysia and Laos are expected to share their entrepreneurial journey and hard-earned wisdom under the auspices of the 1st Asia Women Business Power Conference.


This conference is part of MIRC's effort to kick-start its Women Incubation Program, a program that helps to develop and nurture women entrepreneurs. In this current economic situation, MIRC aspires to empower more women into the entrepreneurial world and we hope that this 1st Asia Women Business Power Conference will inspire and motivate more women to be entrepreneurs.


A major highlight of the event is the creation of an Asia Women Business Network which will become a platform to foster closer cooperation among women entrepreneurs throughout the region. MIRC also hopes to launch the MIRC Women Entrepreneurs Fund to support women entrepreneurs to start-up new businesses.
